’Crevasse’ was inspired by the Hintertuxer Gletscher in Austria, where I trained during October 2018. My visually impaired husband and I (his ski guide) ski race and our mountain training camps are vital for our progress - and for my artistic inspiration! I painted ‘Crevasse’ when I returned home in London.
'Crevasse' is an oil painting on stretched canvas. Created to last with high quality Winsor & Newton paints, this snowscape was painted using a palette knife as well as paint brushes. With its steely grey tones, this striking artwork suits a range of interiors; from ski chalets to Londoners' city flats.
