Using combinations of colours in ways I haven’t used before, the sun shimmers across the landscape, creating dancing shadows, diamonds in the snow and spectacular skies. Each painting comes unframed, meaning that you can choose to hang the painting unframed or choose your own frame. Alternatively, you can buy a frame for your painting here. Each frame comes in an option of white, wood or black.
Shipping times: unframed paintings are shipped within 1 week. Framed paintings are shipped within 3 weeks as I custom order the handmade frames from another British maker.
WHY THE MOUNTAIN OBSESSION?
For me they are the ultimate. The ultimate strength; the ultimate height; the ultimate power. When standing on top of them, they give a sense of perspective that’s hard to find anywhere else in the world. When skiing down then I get a thrill and sense of shared joy and fun that I don’t get anywhere else in the world. And when I’m at the bottom looking up, they give such a solid sense of reassurance. I’m the happiest I ever am in the world.
And I want to share this. I want to share the benefits of the mountings with more and more people. I tried to capture those feelings and express them through my paint. I want to give you something different; something fun and something joyful.
All proceeds from my art go to funding our disabled ski racing career.
